Welcome to the Crescentwood Grizzlies Bear Den.
The Crescentwood Football Club endeavors to attain and demonstrate the knowledge of the game of football to all volunteers and players while being instructed in a fun and positive environment. The Club encourages the maximum abilities of the players within a structured and disciplined program to improve overall health and physical fitness.
Together we shall pursue our goals to become better players, teammates and leaders while maintaining the quality of Crescentwood tradition through good sportsmanship and positive attitudes with the involvement of the community. |

we have an equipmentment fitting on wed at 6:30 Wed June second for PW, Thursday June 3 at 6:30 MB and Bantan. For those of you who are still missing equipment our order has still not come in as of yet. you can check back and an email will be sent to you also when it arrives.

As most of you aware, there is a new certification program for coaching, effective a few months ago. For more details, please follow this link:

The first level of this program is the Community Coach for players of ages 7-13. This replaces the old Level 1. For those who do not have any certification, this is the course that you must take before you enter your second year of coaching. The course dates have been posted on the web site and are as follows:

The Grizzlies are holding First Year Player Evaluations on Saturday June
5th. This allows us to rate the new players for their athletic ability which
helps us when we divide the players into teams. We are firm believers in
EQUAL Teams. We do not attempt to stack a team. Our program is about kids
learning the game and having fun.
We will want all first players at Grizzlies Field by 9:00 a.m. Saturday June
5th. The evaluations will start sharply at 9:30 and run for 2 hours. There
will be approximately 5 different stations that each player will go through.
We will evaluate the athletic ability and NOT football skills.
No equipment is required.
The players should wear a t shirt and shorts. Cleats would also be
recommended. Each player must bring water.

An open letter to the Crescentwood Community Residents:
Who would have thought a letter about football would start with Charles Dickens! However those words ring true for our football club.
It is the best of times for us, as football is the fastest growing sport in Manitoba and you as a resident in the Crescentwood community, can be proud to be a part of the growth and success of the sport through your Grizzlies Football Club.
