we have an equipmentment fitting on wed at 6:30 Wed June second for PW, Thursday June 3 at 6:30 MB and Bantan. For those of you who are still missing equipment our order has still not come in as of yet. you can check back and an email will be sent to you also when it arrives.

The Grizzlies are holding First Year Player Evaluations on Saturday June
5th. This allows us to rate the new players for their athletic ability which
helps us when we divide the players into teams. We are firm believers in
EQUAL Teams. We do not attempt to stack a team. Our program is about kids
learning the game and having fun.
We will want all first players at Grizzlies Field by 9:00 a.m. Saturday June
5th. The evaluations will start sharply at 9:30 and run for 2 hours. There
will be approximately 5 different stations that each player will go through.
We will evaluate the athletic ability and NOT football skills.
No equipment is required.
The players should wear a t shirt and shorts. Cleats would also be
recommended. Each player must bring water.

2009 Football Registration
May 7th, Thursday - 6:30PM-9:00 pm

May 9th, Saturday - 10:00AM-2:00PM
The Grizzlies need 14 volunteers for each day!
A Volunteer orientation will be held Saturday, May 2nd from 10:00-10:45AM.
Coffee and donuts supplied!
Please email the Football Registrar at registrar@grizzliesfootball.net with your availability.
Volunteering for registration qualifies for your 2009 volunteer bond.

THE 2009 ROOKIE EVALUATION CAMP WILL BE HELD AT GRIZZLIES FIELD ON SATURDAY JUNE 6TH. AT 9:30 A.M.
ALL ROOKIES MUST ATTEND SO WE CAN RUN THEM THROUGH A SERIES OF DRILLS TO EVALUATE THEIR ATHLETIC ABILITY. THERE WILL BE NO HITTING AND ONLY CLEATS, SHORTS AND A T SHIRT ARE REQUIRED. IT IS REQUIRED THAT EACH PLAYER BRING LOTS OF WATER TO DRINK.
THE CAMP WILL RUN FOR 2 1/2 HOURS.
ALL PLAYERS PLAYING FOR THEIR FIRST YEAR MUST ATTEND. AGES 7 TO 14 YEARS OF AGE. THIS IS A FUN AND EXCITING TIME. PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO STAY AND CAN HELP OUR COACHES IF YOU LIKE.

Beginning on Monday, June 23rd, the website will be moving to a new server. Over the past few weeks the server load on our current server has made the website load slower than usual. So hopefully with this move the website will be back to normal.
All members and guests should be aware that the website will have downtime during this move, but should be back to normal within 1-2 days.

The 2nd annual Kelvin Clipper and Crescentwood Grizzlies Football Camp has been scheduled.
The camp is open to all players and will run on the following days:
Friday, June 20th - 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Saturday, June 21st - 10am to 12pm
Sunday, June 22nd - 10am to 12pm
Attached to the bottom of this post is the Registration form that you can download and then print from your computer. Completed forms can be dropped off at Crescentwood Community Centre attention to Scott Jones or Kelvin High School. Please note in the form that the cheques are made payable to Kelvin Highschool.

You must bring a $300 cheque, post dated for November 1st, 2008, made out to Crescentwood Community Centre or no equipment will be issued.
Do not miss these dates. Our staff are all volunteers and have lives and families as well.
