As most of you aware, there is a new certification program for coaching, effective a few months ago. For more details, please follow this link:

The first level of this program is the Community Coach for players of ages 7-13. This replaces the old Level 1. For those who do not have any certification, this is the course that you must take before you enter your second year of coaching. The course dates have been posted on the web site and are as follows:

Games played under the MMFA can only display a margin of 30 points difference.
Example: Team A - 42 vs Team B - 7. The score will be shown at the game and on league websites around the city as 37 - 7 due to this rule.
Should games be shown with the actual score?
1. Actual score displayed during the games, but not on websites.
2. Actual score displayed on websites, but not during the games.
3. Actual score displayed both, during the games and on websites.
4. Keep the 30 point rule as is.

THE FOLLOWING IS AN EMAIL SENT TO ALL HEAD COACHES AND MANAGERS.......PLEASE READ ON!
Due to some recent situations that have occurred during football games the MFRA (Game Officials) are implementing a Zero Tolerance Policy when it comes to players, coaches and fans. This means that negative comments or bad language towards the game officials will result in an immediate ejection from the game.
In the case of a fan being ejected it is the responsibility of the Home club to see the fan leaves the property. If the fan does not leave then the game will be stopped and the Head Official can call the game and call it a forfeit by the fan's team.
In the case of a player or coach the ejection is immediate and they are also suspended for the following game.

Well hello all. Since this is a GRIZZLIES forum and all, this may be a little out of place. But I've decided to give a weekly report on the team that I play for as well. As almost everyone knows, I'm a defensive back on the Grant Park Pirate football team. Back on thursday, we played the Bulldogs out of Churchill. The final score was 21-13 in favor of us  . Our best player was kicked out of the game in the beginning of the second quarter on a questionable call. A bulldog player had a hand in his facemask after the whistle had gone, and our player swatted the hand from his face, and the ref called it "rough play, disqualification". Greetings everyone (all 5 of you so far). I'm sure by my username that you guys know who I am so I don't have to introduce myself. Anyway, we got ourselves a bye week this week, so we're planning on working hard to get into game shape for next week. We are currently in fourth place behind Charleswood Broncos, St. Vital Mustangs and the North Winnipeg Nomads. Mustangs are 5-0 while the broncos and nomads are both 4-1. So far, that's it from me, I said everything else in an earlier email to everyone, so I'm out.
