The Grizzlies are holding First Year Player Evaluations on Saturday June
5th. This allows us to rate the new players for their athletic ability which
helps us when we divide the players into teams. We are firm believers in
EQUAL Teams. We do not attempt to stack a team. Our program is about kids
learning the game and having fun.
We will want all first players at Grizzlies Field by 9:00 a.m. Saturday June
5th. The evaluations will start sharply at 9:30 and run for 2 hours. There
will be approximately 5 different stations that each player will go through.
We will evaluate the athletic ability and NOT football skills.
No equipment is required.
The players should wear a t shirt and shorts. Cleats would also be
recommended. Each player must bring water.
On arrival at the club we ask that you see one of the coaches and have your
player's name written on a piece of masking tape which will be applied to
their T shirt.
The team, splits are done the following day so it is important that all
first year players attend. Once the players have been put onto a team the
coaches or team manager will contact the players within a week. This means
you should receive a phone call or email by Sunday June 13th.
Remember bring water.
