The Manitoba Minor Football Association (MMFA) has rules which each club must follow.
If you want to play with the Grizzlies or you want to play at another club the rules are simple.
You MUST register at your Home Club. This means the club that is where your home is or where your scholl is located. This rule was added a few years ago to make it easy for Friends toPlay with Friends.
When you register just simply tell the person who is taking your registeration form that you want a Transfer to which ever club you want. The MMFA stipulates that no money is to be paid. You will pay once a Transfer has or has not been granted.
Transfers are not issued until after Registration Weekend is over (2:00 p.m. Saturday May 8th). The decision to issue a transfer is that of the Home Club and not the receiving Club. A Club may have a justified reason to not grant a transfer. These could include the fact that they need the players to make a team roster. Another reason is the club in which you want to go to may simply not have room for any players. Clubs must confirm with the Receiving Club that they do have room for the player.
If a club has 17 players but needs 18 to make the minimum number of players they can turn down the request based on the fact 17 players will not be allowed to play. Most clubs will grant a transfer if they have enough players. This league is about kids having fun and learning the game of football.

Please understand that these rules are placed by the MMFA and not the individual clubs.
